Zachary Bowman

I come from a small farming community in west central Iowa.

I love making things. Before attending college I worked in the construction field. When orientation day came I was undecided as to which major to pursue. I, of course, was thinking about construction management. My advisor that day was a professor in the department of art. I told him what I liked doing and he said, "sounds like you would be a good candidate for sculpture."

I showed up and never left.

 

I want my sculptures to be personable and easily relatable. Above all they need to be well crafted and visually appealing.
